We are an urban family who love living in the city, but as much as we love a concrete jungle, a green space is essential too. Luckily there is a huge park right outside our door, literally! We even own a little part of it as a private garden. Naturally, we use the park a lot. For playtime, bicycling, picnics and for just a plain and simple walk in the park. There are also skateboard ramps and playground equipment here, and even skiing tracks in the winter.
Baby boy Florian loves to hang out in his stroller, looking at all the exciting things the park has to offer. When he gets tired, a nap in the stroller is the best! And mommy gets a much needed coffee.
Winters are long in Norway, but this one has been exceptionally long. The calendar says it’s spring, but it’s still snowy and cold! I can’t wait to bring out the summer clothes, but that’s not an option yet. Meanwhile, I still have to stick to my winter favorites. To be honest, it’s even a bit cold to wear Converse, but the ones I’m wearing here are in a thicker leather version and wool socks also do the trick.
Earlier, I’ve written about my love for the red and camel combo, but another favorite is red and black. Perhaps it’s not a shocker that black is a favorite, who doesn’t love black? Probably the most worn “color” of all time. Yes I know, it’s not even a color. I rarely go for an all-black outfit though, I like to pair it with something pop colored, preferably red, or something camel, nude or white. This time I’ve done it all! Black coat, jeans, belt and sunglasses with a white chunky sweater, camel colored shoes and a red bag. And leopard mittens. All in all, lots of different shades, but I think it works because the colors don’t clash.

OK, so we can’t deny the fact that there is a certain red handbag in these pictures! One thing I love more than a handbag is a RED handbag. And a red Chanel has always been my dream. This is the Chanel Boy bag in the old medium size, in dark red caviar leather. And because it’s caviar it’s durable and kid-friendly, especially since it has a crossbody option.
I totally get that a Chanel bag may not be considered “kid-friendly” at all, but as a handbag enthusiast and collector, I may have a more liberal way of thinking. Also, my motto is to use all my bags and enjoy them. They really do bring a bit of extra joy in my life, so they won’t sit on their shelf collecting dust.
