A few days ago I carried my red Chanel GST with a camel coat and beige chinos. One of my favorite color combinations is red and camel. I do love an all-black outfit and probably wear that more often than this combo, but every time I go for a red and camel look I feel well put together with a dash of pop.
To be totally honest, this outfit was something I threw on in a few minutes because, well, that’s a mom’s life. Putting your kids first and then yourself is what we do. So it’s not uncommon that I get a bit stressed right before we’re heading out and have to throw on the first thing I see in my closet. Luckily I have an open closet with a lot of hanging space, it does help to decide quicker sometimes. But the ideal closet would be Cher’s closet from Clueless of course!
No matter what you’re doing (unless you’re staying inside on the couch, but maybe even then), there are two key elements to a great outfit: your outfit has to be comfortable and make you feel good. In order to be comfortable, you must feel good, but maybe even more important, you must be comfortable to feel good.
In general, I’m just a nicer person if I have a great outfit on. Ha! So naturally, when you’re in a hurry you tend to grab the safe things you know will work and make a great outfit. In my case, that is an all-black or dark outfit with a pop coloured accessory, or it’s the red and camel/beige combination.

Love the bag and the coat and how well they compliment each other.
Thank you! Have a great weekend.
Very cute! I have such a hard time finding cute nice fitting coats. And you are so right that any great outfit has to make you feel great and be comfortable.
I agree, it’s difficult to find a coat that looks good on with a thick sweather witout looking like a stuffed sausage!
Love the color of your bag that matches your coat 🙂 Looks comfy too!
